Lina is a swiss period film set in the late sixties that tackles a difficult chapter of swiss social politics. Up until 1981 it was possible to lock up (predominantly young) people without trial due to allegations of vague nature like dissolute lifestyle, salaciousness, slothfulness etc. Often, these claims where based on a dogmatic belief in firm moral standards, had no legal foundation and where carried thru without legit trials.
The film depicts the fate of the young girl Lina who is victim to this so called "administrative care" wich is forced upon her by the authorities of her small home town.
